Labor: The Pool Weasel reduces vacuuming time is reduced by two-thirds no matter what the size of pool being cleaned. Pools that typically require 1 1/2 hours to vacuum, will have the time reduced to 20-30 minutes with the Pool Weasel. Also, any staff member can be easily trained to operate the Pool Weasel, not necessarily a Technician with CPO training that may be a higher paid employee.

The Pool Weasel
Patent holder has been in pool renovation / service for over 40 years. Being designed by someone in the business makes this machine a service persons dream.
All construction with base unit is made with non-corrosive materials. Built to give at least 10 + years of field service. All components are of the finest quality available.
Pump: Pump is self-priming after filling strainer basket with water. Pump is also equipped with thermal overload protection that automatically resets. Equipped with 7" strainer basket with clear see thru lid so that you can actually see when the strainer needs cleaning. Access to impeller and diffuser easily made by removal of winged nut, 2 stainless bolts and metal clasp. Access made in 5 minutes and with minimal tools!
Filter: pleated single cartridge constructed of polyester. Easily cleaned with a spray from a garden hose. Expected life 1-3 years with proper maintenance. Replacement cost presently by Rainbow Pools/ Pool Weasel is STILL $65.00 dollars, after all these years. Filter accessed by single winged nut atop the filter housing. Filter equipped with check valve that disallows debris from re-entering pool when system is shut off.
Weight: base unit weighs 87 pounds and with its standard non-marking tires makes it very portable and designed to be NOT top heavy. Easy to move around a pool deck or even in sand at the beach. Easy to load in or out of vehicle. Can be easily pulled by golf cart.
Maintenance: occasionally 2 "O" rings need to be lubricated. Hosing canister out occasionally. Cleaning of cartridge filter suggested after every use. 10-15 plus + years of commercial service is normal for the Weasel.

Other uses: Use the Pool Weasel to vacuum to waste. This is done easily by removing cartridge filter, remove exhaust hose and insert the waste adapter, connect an old vacuum hose to the adapter and then vacuum sand/ debris to waste WHERE you want to divert the debris to go. This takes care of accidents in the pool or to remove abundant amounts of sand or debris. The Pool Weasel can also be used as a standby filter or just to aid your pools filtration. Set up as you would to vacuum placing pole and vacuum head as far away from base unit as possible. Use the Pool Weasel to drain pools and or pool covers. Also can be used to pump out flooded areas in apartments or motel rooms.
